Perspective Final

or

"The Brotherhood of the Red Lion"

This is my final for my Perspective class at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. The assignment was "A Guarded Conspiracy:

Pretend you are looking at a gathering of three figures from a hidden camera either from the ground (worm’s eye) or from high above (bird’s eye). Render these three figures in one of these unique points of view. Strong emphasis should be placed on the storytelling element. Who are these people? What conspiracies are they hiding? Why are they gathered together? And why did they become the focus of your hidden camera investigation? Add narrative and all background details within the composition (in perspective, of course!) that will help the viewer answer some of these questions. Illustrations must include at least three additional building or structural elements."

In this piece, I took the requirement/recommendation of making this a portfolio piece to heart.

Project at point it was turned in, after I had added shadows and lighting effects.

Knowing the rough idea, began concept sketches for potential costumes.

Ideation and Thumbnailing for the project. I had decided that I wanted to push myself, so seeing how often I tend to create profile-oriented pictures, I decided that whichever piece I decided to go with I would turn to landscape.
