Betrayed Privateer

"a dark figure wearing the broken crest of La'Trel, with an old cap as a mask, has preyed on the vessels of both the Empire and the Arrangement. Coming out of nowhere, always bitterly showing the verdict of piracy against the Commodore, two major theories have arisen as to who the dark pirate is. Some say it is a descendant of La'Trel, but others believe it is La'Trel himself, still hunting the ships of his old enemies, and the empire that betrayed him."

I created this as an entry for the Cosmic Corsair contest over on DeviantART, which was a really fun and good prompt. I ended up not officially entering since I didn't want to agree to some of the things in the rules. But, finished this in the allotted time, and now have a new piece I really like. :)
